Cause
Water entered the unit
Low voltage shutdown or
thermal shutdown has
occurred.
Standard "average
reading" AC voltmeter
used to measure output
voltage, resulting in an
apparent reading 5 to 15V
too low.
Battery voltage is too low.
AC product power
consumption is higher
than rated.
Battery is old or defective.
Battery is not being
properly charged.
solution
Disconnect the inverter and wipe
immediately with a dry cloth or
permanent damage can occur.
Allow unit to cool down. Improve
air circulation around the
unit. Relocate unit to a cooler
environment. Reduce load if
continuous operation is required.
Inverter's "modified sine
wave" output requires "true
RMS" voltmeter for accurate
measurements.
Recharge the battery.
Use a larger battery to make up for
increased power requirement.
Replace the battery.
Some chargers are not able to
fully recharge a battery. Make
sure you use a powerful charger.
