1.4.2 Filling with water
1.4.3 If there is perfect suction and the liner is correctly positioned, begin filling
the pool without shutting off the suction. We recommend that you fill the
pool using mains water, which in principle is less exposed to contamination
than inflow water. In the event of a fault or power cut, stop the filling
process. When suction is restarted, check that the liner has not slipped
before beginning the filling process again. After filling with water, we
strongly recommend that you analyse your water and if necessary carry out
suitable treatment.
1.4.4 Installing the flanges
Find the screw housings with your finger and mark them with a cross using
a ball-point pen. You can guess the shape of an embedded part and its
mounting holes through the liner by touch.
Screw on the flange (following a quincunx pattern) without breaking it
(tighten it slowly and gradually without using force) and then carefully cut
the inside of the parts using a small knife so the water can flow through.
Wait until the water reaches the second step (roughly under the floodlight) to
install the flanges for the embedded parts.
2. Recommendations for use
2.1 Water temperature
2.1.1 Classic quality
During seasonal use, the water temperature should not exceed 28°C.
2.1.2 Celsius quality
During seasonal use, the water temperature should not exceed 33°C.
2.1.3 Premium quality
During seasonal use, the water temperature should not exceed 33 °C
continuously and 35°C occasionally.
2.2 Chlorination
2.2.1 Classic quality
The chlorine level must not exceed 1.2 ppm.
2.2.2 Celsius quality
The chlorine level must not exceed 2.5 ppm.
2.2.3 Premium quality
The chlorine level must not exceed 3 ppm.
2.3 Regular weekly cleaning
- - of the skimmer baskets.
- - of the electric pump unit primary filter.
- - of the water line (never use abrasive objects or products, or solvent-based
products for cleaning).
- - of the floor and walls, by brushing and sweeping.
2.4 Routine maintenance
Check the filter for clogging and the filtration operating time.
Any non-wrapped products (chlorine or bromine based) must be dissolved
beforehand, preferably in a dispenser rather than in the skimmers.
Discolouration or blisters may appear around the embedded parts (main
drains, skimmers, backflow) and are generally due to the recommendations
above not being followed. They do not constitute a fault in the liner.

2.5 Dark colours
On pools with a dark coloured liner covered by a shelter, a slatted safety
cover, a bar cover or a solar cover, we recommend regulating the water
treatment using a redox or amperometric measurement system.
2.6 Winterisation
Surface, skimmer and filtering equipment frost protection. Fit a cover to
protect the pool from falling leaves or other impurities.
2.7 Emptying
We recommend partially emptying the pool (30%) every year in order to
renew the water. However, it is inadvisable to completely empty the pool
as the liner could move and creases may appear. If this operation were to
be required anyway, it must be carried out under the supervision of a pool
professional.
2.8 Creases and stains
Creases are any excess material that can be pinched between two fingers. If
they appear after filling, they cannot be attributed to the manufacture or the
quality of the liner but rather a treatment or water temperature problem.
Stains are generally due to micro-organisms, algae or use of unsuitable
products.
Over time, use of treatment products causes normal discolouration of the
PVC liner.
These aspects are not covered by the guarantee, which applies to liner
watertightness qualities.
3. Guarantees
The installer and fitter declare to have read and understood the AFNOR
standards FD T 54-802, NFT 54-803-1 and NFT 54-803-2.
The guarantee only applies if the AFNOR (French organisation for
standardisation) and FPP (French Federation of Swimming Pool
Professionals; DTP [swimming pool technical guidelines] no. 1, 2, 3)
recommendations have been followed.
Snags, holes, tears, stains, creases and colour fastness cannot be
guaranteed. Any water treatment that does not comply with the District
health and social services office's (DDASS) requirements systematically
voids the guarantee.
The guarantee does not cover installation work, removal/reinstallation
expenses, labour, emptying, filling, products, transport.
A liner that does not comply with the dimensions must be returned to us
immediately. It is up to the manufacturer to decide on a replacement or
repair solution.
CAUTION
• The guarantee for non-compliance only applies if filling has not been
performed and the embedded parts have not been cut.
• Filling with water and/or cutting embedded parts constitute acceptance of
the liner's compliance with the pool dimensions and the colour of the PVC
lining by the installer (AFNOR: NFT 54 802).
3.1 Classic quality
- - 10-year guarantee on the liner and welds* (5 full years + 5 years with a
degressive rate of 20 % per year).
3.2 Celsius quality
- - 10-year full guarantee on the sheet and the welds*.
- - 3-year guarantee on the dimensional stability (in water up to 33 °C
continuously and chlorination below 2.5 ppm).
3.3 Premium quality
- - 12-year full guarantee on the sheet and the welds*.
- - 4-year guarantee on the dimensional stability (in water up to 33 °C
continuously and 35 °C during a 24 h peak period and chlorination below
3 ppm).
*Under normal conditions of use. From the delivery date. Subject to location in France or
neighbouring countries. Providing that the «Guarantee form» was sent to Albon by the installer no
later than one month after installing the liner.
These guarantees only apply if AFNOR and FFP recommendations have been complied with.
