The VOLTAIR Avalanche Airbag is

designed to carry backcountry gear
such as skis, snowboard, snowshoes,
ice axe, and ski poles without
interfering with the balloon inflation
mechanism. Pack carefully to make
sure the trigger can be accessed and
the balloon can deploy correctly.
Objects strapped to the pack should
not interfere with the trigger system
or balloon compartment, as it may
prevent your airbag from deploying
correctly.
