IMPORTANT UK WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance is supplied with a fitted plug; however, for your information,
should you wish to change the plug, the wires in the mains lead of the
appliance are colored in accordance with the following code:
Green and Yellow:
Blue:
Brown:
Warning: The severed plug should be disposed of to avoid a possible shock
hazard and should never be inserted into a 13A socket. As the colors of the
mains lead of this appliance may not correspond to the colored markings
identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows: the wire which is
colored Green & Yellow must be connected to the terminal in the plug which
is marked with the letter E or by the earth symbol
& Yellow. The wire which is colored Blue must be connected to the
terminal which is marked with the letter N or colored Black or Blue. The wire
which is colored brown must be connected to the terminal which is marked
with the letter L, or colored Red or Brown.
NOTE: If the terminals of the plug are unmarked or if you are in any doubt,
consult a qualified electrician. If a BS1363 Fused Plug is used, this must be
fitted with the correct amperage fuse – 13A. This applies to UK models only.
1. Put ingredients into container and cover it. Always add liquid ingredients
first, unless otherwise specified in recipe. Do not fill above MAX line.
2. Place container on blender. Be sure container is fully seated and that the
drive coupling is properly engaged.
3. Plug in blender cord into outlet.
4. Press ON/OFF button.
Green LED will illuminate.
5. This blender has 2 speed settings: HI
and LOW
To crush ice, use "HIGH" speed setting.
6. This blender is equipped with a PULSE
option. Press button to engage PULSE function.
Unit will run on High speed until the button
is released.
7. When finished processing, press ON/OFF
button.
8. Allow motor to come to a complete stop before removing container
from blender.
