1.2 Switching on your device
To switch on your Synthetic Ruby Identifier, press and hold the
Power button located at the front of the unit. A blue light will blink for
approximately 20 seconds to allow the product to warm up and detect
for Bluetooth pairing devices (Fig 1.3).
Once the blue light stops blinking and remains stable, the device is
ready for use.

Should the blue light on the Power button be replaced by a steady
white light, this means that the device is ready for use and is paired
with an active Bluetooth device.
