Setting Cage for Large Animals (1-door set)
1. With the cage closed, move the straight trigger rod so it is above and out of the
working range of the looped trigger rod (illustration 5 & 6)
2. Place bait at back (closed) end of cage
3. Place a wooden block under bait pan on the side of the open door. Cage will only
be triggered when animal steps on back side of pan where door is closed

Adjusting Trigger Rods
For this model, if a door is not level when cage is set, hold the door open and level with
one hand, and bend the trigger rod up with the other hand
Correcting Over-Adjustment to Trigger Rods
For this trap, tension on the trigger rods should only be from door springs. To correct an
over adjustment to the tension, hold the door open and level, and bend the trigger rod
down.
