25. Updating the maps
Conditions: Once you have activated
lifetime Mappy map updates
available.
Install the Naviextras Toolbox software on your PC. It is available at:
https://mappy.naviextras.com/shop/portal/downloads
Connect your GPS to your PC using the cable provided. Ensure that you have left
navigation mode before connecting your GPS using the USB port. If you do not do
this, the computer will not recognize the device.
Launch the Naviextras Toolbox software.
Wait for the software to recognize your GPS and for the server to finish analyzing the
contents of your Mappy GPS.
Log in using your Naviextras ID (saved on mappy.naviextras.com), then simply click
the "Updates" button in the left hand menu bar in Toolbox.
Next, click the "Install" button. Do not disconnect your GPS during installation.
Warning: You are strongly advised to back up your Mappy GPS before starting the
installation.
1. Allows one user to receive up to four map updates over the product's lifetime (approx. 5 years), or for as long
as LOGICOM (Mappy GPS importer) receives the map data from its third party provider. Non transferable to
another individual or Mappy GPS.
2. Your GPS will be activated after you have driven 20km.
