7.- Move the ON/OFF switch (7) to position "II". The motor will start automatically so be extremely
careful to avoid injury.
8.- Choose the speed you want for your recipe using the speed regulator (8). Turn the regulator
clockwise to increase the speed and counter-clockwise to lower the speed. You should start
using the blender at minimum speed and adjust the speed later on.
!
The motor will only stop when the ON/OFF switch is in the 0 position.
9.- After choosing the right speed for your recipe, close the lid of the sound enclosure box. Noise
will be reduced right away.
10.- Keep the PULSE (6) switch in position"II" so the blender starts running at maximum speed
instantly. The blender will stop running when the switch is released.
Using the blender at maximum speed for long periods of time can cause the food inside
!
it to heat up.
11.- If food gets stuck and keeps the blades from working properly while the blender is in use, stop
the blender and use the mixing paddle provided in the package. Lift the cover on the lid, put
in the mixing paddle and stir the food. Close the cover and re-start the motor to finish the
process.
12.- The blender has over-heating protection. For its own protection, the blender will shut off
automatically if it detects that the motor is overloaded. If this happens, make sure there is no
food stuck in the blades and if there is, remove it.
13.- Push the RESET (13) button so the blender can be re-started.
14.- When you're done using the blender, unplug it and put the ON/OFF switch in the "0" position.
To avoid injury, turn the blender off, unplug it from the power source and let it cool down before
starting any maintenance.
1.- Put a little warm water with a little soap in the jar. Put the lid on the jar and run the blender
for about 10 seconds, then empty the jar and rinse it out with water. Put the jar upside down
and let it dry before storing.
To lengthen the life of the jar, do not leave water inside it for long periods of time.
!
Make sure the inside of the jar and the blades are completely dry before putting them
away.
2.- Disassemble the blades for cleaning, if necessary. To disassemble the blades, turn the
attachment ring on the bottom of the jar clockwise. You can use the disassembly wrench
(Ref. 69195T not included with this item), for taking the blades apart. Block the attachment
ring with the wrench and turn the jar counter-clockwise.
3.- To put the blades back together, put them in position and hold them while turning the
attachment ring on the bottom of the jar counter-clockwise. Tightening the ring by hand is
enough because it tightens itself during use.
4.- Only use non-abrasive cleaning products. Abrasive cleaning products can scratch the finish
of the blender, damaging its appearance and leading to the accumulation of dirt.
5.- Use a damp cloth to clean the body of the blender, because it cannot be submerged in water.
6.- Make sure to store the blender in a dry, well ventilated place with no humidity.
