1.3 - Adjustment of the visor mechanism
The side mechanisms have two adjusters for the visor unblock-
ing levers (Fig. 3 – det. A). The helmet is supplied with adjusters
set correctly. Check the mechanism efficiency periodically, by
following the instructions below:
open the visor with the red lever on the helmet chin guard (see
1.1.1);
make sure that the two visor release levers operate simultane-
ously on both outer sides of helmet.
If that does not happen, follow the instructions below:
pull up the visor manually to the full open position;
with the red opening visor lever pulled up, set the adjusters (fig.
4) until the release levers align with the arrows at the bases of
the side mechanisms;
release the red opening visor lever to the normal position
(downwards) and make sure that the release levers set as
shown in fig. 3;
pull down the visor and make sure that it correctly closes
aligned with the shell edge.
