1.6.5 - Pull up the visor then pull it down again. If need be, do the
inspections described in point 1.3).
1.6 - Visor adjustment
The visor hooking pin is equipped with a
visor clearance take-up system to ensure
effective visor sealing along the porthole
edge. The helmet is provided with the
correct adjustment of the registers.
During helmet use, periodically check:
A) When the visor is completely closed,
make sure it adheres to the deformable
lip of the porthole seal in a homoge-
neous and symmetrical way.
B) Make also sure that the visor is cor-
rectly and symmetrically set in the shell
seat (fig. 10).
Otherwise, follow the instruc-
tions below:
1.6.1 - Loosen the socket head
screw on the hooking pin of the
visor by using the supplied key
(fig. 11).
1.6.2 - Push the visor against
the porthole seal without press-
ing the hooking pin. Tighten the
head screw into the hooking
pin (fig. 12) until it reaches the
correct position (see A and B)
without releasing the visor.
1.6.3 - Repeat the steps 1.6.1
and 1.6.2 on the other side of
the helmet.
1.6.4 - Check as described in
points A) and B).
