- INSTALLATION

4.1 Assembling onto fixed or telescopic extension pole

• Screw the body with pneumatic motor (9) onto the extension pole (11).
• Fit the disc or reel stone hurling guard (8) on.
• Fit the supplementary handle (5) onto the extension pole (4). For fixed extension poles with mm 28 dia. use the rubber
reducer (22).

4.2 Connection to the air supply

• Make sure the safety catch (1) in the handle is inserted.
• Set the air pressure at kPa 1000 (10 bar).
• Fit the air hose into the quick air plug (12). Verify that the air plug is free from dirt and that its inner dia. is at least 8 mm.

4.3 Checks before the use

• Check the screw (13) of the stone hurling guard for tightness.
• Check the disc (7) and the reel (6) for tightness.
• Check the safety catch (1) of the control lever for perfect working.
• When connecting the telescopic extension pole, check the clamp (14) for tightness.

4.4 Disc assembly

• Verify that the centring flange (17) is inserted.
• Place the disc (7) onto the pin (15) which is protruding from the crown wheel and pinion set (16). Check the arrow sign on the
disc (7) for the right sense of rotation.
• Place the locking flange (10) on the disc.
• Insert a pin or a screwdriver into the purposely made hole in the housing lower side. Lock the disc (7) and tighten the nut (18)
anticlockwise until properly secured.
• For removing the disc, follow the procedures in reverse.

4.5 Nylon-corded reel assembly

• Insert a pin or a screwdriver in the purposely made hole in the housing lower side (16).
• Screw the reel with nylon cord (6) on the protruding pin of the housing (16) anticlockwise.
• For removing the reel, follow the procedures in reverse.

4.6 Disc/reel selection

To select the cutting accessory to suit the need, follow the indications below:
ACCESSORY TYPE

Disc with 80 teeth (7)
WARNING!
• Never use the accessories to cut trees or branches. The inadequate use could cause serious injuries to the operator
and damages to the tool. For safety reasons use only the cutting accessories indicated by the manufacturer (draw-
ings D, E, F).
• Before starting working, wear safety helmet, protective glasses and shoes, noise-proof ear-cover and suitable clothing
(drawing A).
NOTE
Check the air hose for perfect condition before connecting it with the quick air plug (12). It must be clear of bends and cuts.
