5 MAINTENANCE

5.1 Replacing the filter

The VMI® URBAN unit may be either equipped with:
-
Pollens filter
-
Or Fine particle filter
-
Or Pollen, fine particle & odour filter - 3 in 1
To ensure optimum air quality and correct functioning of the VMI® unit, the filter must be regularly
changed (Minimum once a year).
Refer to step 11 of the assembly instructions when changing the URBAN VMI® filter
Filter replacement procedure:
1- Cut the power to the VMI® unit.
2- Replace the old filter with a new filter (the filter tab must be facing outwards).
3- Switch the machine on.
4- Connect the VMI® LINK PRO app to the VMI® unit.
5- Select the VMI® unit in question.
6- Open the Maintenance tab.
7- Select Filter replacement.
8- Specify the renewal period.
9- Confirm to complete the operation.
Note: If the app cannot be accessed, you can complete the filter replacement via the control unit. To
do so, see the control unit user manual.

5.2 Replacing the control unit batteries

See the user manual.

5.3 Retrieving operating data via Bluetooth

In order to analyse the product's behaviour, you can download maintenance data via the VMI® LINK
PRO app > Maintenance tab > VMI® LINK PRO HISTORY button. Enter an email address to receive the
downloaded file. Note you must be sufficiently close to the VMI® to carry out this operation.

Operation that cannot be done by the user.
