INTRODUCTION
ALAN 507 is a 69 channel lightweight handheld LPD (Low Power Device) transceiver you can
use in several situations thanks to its micro size, the equipped beltclip and wrist belt: in
professional purposes (public events, etc.), private situations, such as leisure time (picnics,
etc.) or sport activities (fishing, hunting, biking, etc).
The band of operation (433Mhz) provides communications virtually free of atmospheric
interference, that is common on lower frequency bands.
The only limit to maximum possible range are environmental factors such as blockage caused
by trees, buildings, hills, or other obstructions. If you find communication is not possible, many
times this can be overcome by moving only a few meters to a new location. Range is reduced
while operating in a vehicle or metal building.
ALAN 507 uses 3 AA type alkaline or 3 AA Ni-Cd rechargeable batteries; it's equipped with
jack for external speaker microphone and Ni-Cd batteries charge jack.
Attention : Batteries must be in good condition to obtain proper operation.
