In the first month

Preparing maintenance work

CAUTION!
Note the following for all maintenance work:
 The generator must not be running.
 All the parts must be cooled down.
➤ Switch the generator to no function with the main switch (fig. 4 1,
page 4).
➤ Disconnect the positive terminal of the supply battery.
➤ Open the generator cover.
For maintenance work, you can take the generator out (fig. j, page 16):

WARNING!
The mounting plate with generator is very heavy (> 40 kg) and
could fall out the housing if you take it out too far.
➤ Undo the fastening screws (1).
➤ Remove the mounting plate (2) with the generator a bit from the
housing (3).

Inspection/maintenance
➤ Change the oil.
➤ Check the air filter (chapter "Servicing the air filter" on
page 42).
➤ Check the air filter (chapter "Servicing the air filter" on
page 42).
➤ Change the oil.
➤ Check the spark plug (chapter "Servicing the spark plugs"
on page 43).
➤ Check the valves.
➤ Check the vibration damper.
➤ ePower T only: Check the fuel tank and fuel filter.
➤ ePower T only: Check the petrol supply lines.
➤ ePower T LPG only: Check the gas supply lines.
