Diagnostic Test 6 – Sensors Diagnostic Test
This tests the various sensors used in the system to be sure that they are
functioning correctly:
• Output tray and bin sensor (optical reflective sensor) in each output tray and
the output bin (5300N only).
• Disc present sensor located inside the lift arm.
• Lift home sensor located inside the lift arm.
• Door open sensor located in the frame.
• Output bin present sensor located in the frame (5300N only).

Note: A beep sounds each time the status of a sensor is changed.
Access and Start the Diagnostic Tests
1. Be sure the autoloader is in diagnostic test mode. Follow the instructions in
the Access Diagnostic Test Mode
2. Press the operator button six times and hold on the last press until the
operator panel displays [SENSOR TEST BEEP ON CHANGE].
3. Release the operator button.
Output Tray Diagnostic Tests (5300N Only)
This tests the tray sensor (optical reflective sensor) in the output trays and output
bin.
1. Place a disc in an output tray. The sensor beeps and operator panel
displays [0] to show the change in status.
2. Remove the disc. The sensor beeps and operator panel displays [1] to show
the change in status.
3. Repeat the test for each output tray.
4. Repeat the test for the output bin.

Note: The output bin sensor is at the top of the bin.
5. To exit the test now, press the operator button.
