Installation
(figure 6)
– Flush the inlet water pipes carefully prior to installation of Electra.
Connecting the mains current:
– Screw the power-source box to the wall.
– Open the power-source box and pull out the circuit card.
– Thread the electric cable through the cable gland.
– Make sure that the electric wires are not live and then attach them to the connection strip (1)
as shown in figure 10.
– The earth wire does not need to be connected and so can be cut.
– Tighten the cable gland nut (3) as shown in figure 10.
– Put the printed circuit board (2) back in place as shown in figures 10 and 11.
– Attach the sensor wire from the faucet to the power-source box connector and fix the cable gland in place.
Close the power-source box.
– Switch on the mains power and open the water inlet to the faucet.
– Check that the faucet operates faultlessly.
– Paste the instruction sticker where it will be seen beside the faucet.
NOTE!
The electrical connections on Electra basin faucets 6220G and 6220F may only be performed by a
professional electrician.
Servicing and adjustment may also be carried out by a suitably qualified person e.g. someone
who has completed the Electra Training School Program.
Cleaning cover
If necessary, a cleaning cover can be placed over the lens e.g. during
cleaning of the basin, so that water inlet from the faucet is blocked.
Limiting the temperature
Faucet version with the temperature adjustment handle (figure 7).
– Turn the limiter sleeve (3) clockwise for a lower maximum temperature.
Preset temperature version
– Remove the plug (5).
– Put the temperature adjustment handle in place and adjust the temperature by turning the handle.
– Turn the handle anti-clockwise for a lower maximum temperature.
