WELCOME TO THE
AQUACHARGE™
The AquaCharge™ pump is handy
for most pumping in and around
your home.
The AquaCharge™ portable,
rechargeable water pump combines
convenient features in a sleek,
new, industrial design. The fully
submersible pump is easy to operate
and is battery powered so it can
be taken anywhere. The included
charging station allows for easy
recharging of the battery to ensure
your pump is never inactive due to
not having batteries on hand.
PUMP OPERATION

BATTERY INSTALLATION
Note: Fully charge battery before
using. Look at arrow on knob and line
up with arrow on pump. Insert knob.

TO OPERATE THE PUMP
When OFF, the arrow will be pointed
to the dot on the left of the handle
base. To turn ON, turn the knob
clockwise so the arrow aligns with the
dot on the right of the handle base.

ATTACHING HOSE
Using hose provided or standard
to threads on side of pump.

STRAINER REMOVAL
4.a) Simultaneously PRESS buttons
strainer.
4.b) When the strainer releases, pull
it evenly out of the bottom of the
pump.

TO REMOVE BATTERY PACK
5.a) PRESS release button on side of
pump.
5.b) Turn the knob counterclockwise
from the OFF position to point to the
arrow on the side of the pump.
5.c) When properly aligned, remove
battery.

CHARGER BASE OPERATION
Set battery securely in base. The light
indicates charge of battery.
Green = Ready
Yellow = Charging
Red = Disconnect power cord and
reconnect to charger base.

TROUBLE SHOOTING &
SAFETY
PUMP IS NOT PUMPING
- Check to make sure the on/o
knob is turned as far to the right as
possible.
- Verify battery is charged by placing
battery in charger and making sure
light is green.
- Check the hose for any kinks.
- Check pump strainer for debris.

- Verify the pump is in at least
20 mm (¾") of water. If the pump
is in less than 20 mm (¾") of water,
the pump may not be able to pick
up the water.
BATTERY NOT CHARGING
- Check power connection on wall.
- Check to make sure the power cord
is fully inserted into the back of the
charger.
- Make sure the battery cartridge
is fully seated in the charger base
in the correct orientation and the
charge light is on.
- Verify charger is in good working
condition.
- Depending on the age, usage
rate and the environment where
the battery cartridge has been
stored, the battery may need to be
replaced.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
- Do not place wet battery cartridge
in charging base.
- The pump is NOT designed for
drinking water.
- Ensure battery and pump are dry
before inserting cartridge into
pump.
- THIS PUMP IS FOR WATER ONLY
DO NOT PUMP FLAMMABLE
LIQUIDS
DO NOT PUMP CORROSIVE LIQUIDS
DO NOT PUMP GASOLINE/DIESEL/
PETROL
- Do not insert battery into the
pump or insert the battery into the
charger where ammable vapours
are present. A small spark may
occur and ignite any surrounding
ammable liquid, possibly
damaging the surrounding
environment and presenting
a health risk.
PROPER DISPOSAL
METHODS AND
PRECAUTIONS
Please review the following
precautions before using your
AquaCharge™ pump.
9.6v NiMH Battery & Pump
If any liquid from the
NiMH battery comes in
contact with your skin,
quickly wash with mild
detergent and water,
neutralize liquid with a
mild acid such as vinegar
and consult a doctor if
necessary. If the liquid should enter
for further instructions.
Do not incinerate the NiMH battery
pack as it has the potential to explode
under high heat causing severe injury
and may create toxic fumes.
Contact your local recycling
centre for information
regarding proper disposal
methods.
Store your pump indoors during
times when temperature drops below
freezing on a regular basis.
DO NOT submerge battery cartridge
or pump unless installed together.

caustic, or corrosive liquids could
result in damage to the product
and the surrounding environment,
possible exposure to hazardous
