Bates Timer Lock

Installation of the Bates Timer Lock requires the stock relay boss
on right engine case plus the stock relay mount in place.
Any cable brackets and/or clamps still present need to be remo-
ved.
Assemble Timer Lock components:

Fasten the spring sleeve (3) to the strut (1) with the screw (2).
Then insert hook (4) into spring (5). Insert the spring into the sleeve and
fix it with the split pin (6).
Bend ends of split pin slightly.

Position the the Timer Lock between ignition system and cutout
relay.
Bracket of the Timer Lock sits on top of the relay pod.
Tighten down both with the two stock 1/4"-24 screws.
Timer studs vary so it may be necessary to modify the hook of your
Timer Lock for smooth engagement.
