RADIO CHANNEL CONFIGURATION
When the network is not configured, the base unit monitors the 16 possible radio channels and registers activity present in the
environment; to set up a new network, it is appropriate to select a channel on which there is low radio activity, in order to avoid
interference.
1. While pressing and holding the STOP key, press the PROG key briefly: the YELLOW LED starts to flash.
The number of flashes indicates the channel currently selected
2. Use the UP and DOWN keys to select the channel desired: if the GREEN LED comes on, it means the channel selected is free from
interference, while if the RED LED comes on, it means the channel has interference
3. Having selected the radio channel, to exit this procedure, select the PROG key: this automatically starts SCANNING TIME
CONFIGURATION mode
PLEASE NOTE: The channel cannot be modified after the network has been configured.
SCANNING TIME CONFIGURATION
With no ongoing alarms, and with the motor stopped, the base unit queries all sensors every 15 seconds in order to verify proper
operation. A shorter time may be set, if necessary.
On completion of the RADIO CHANNEL CONFIGURATION or TEST procedure, pressing the PROG key automatically enters SCANNING TIME
CONFIGURATION mode.
1. The YELLOW LED remains on and fixed and the GREEN LED flashes to indicate the time set:
1 flash: 4 queries per second (0.25 s)
2 flashes: 2 queries per second (0.5 s)
3 flashes: 1 query per second (1 s)
4 flashes: 1 query every 15 seconds (default)
2. Select the desired time using the UP and DOWN keys
3. Press the PROG key to exit programming mode.
ASSOCIATING THE SENSOR WITH THE BASE UNIT
Install the sensors by following the instructions attached to the product, then proceed as follows:
1. Press the PROG key on the base unit once: the RED LED emits single flashes
2. Press and hold the sensor SET key until LED L3 flashes intensely and regularly, then release the key
3. The base unit automatically exits acquisition mode and the sensor starts transmitting every 15 seconds
NOTE: Association must be completed within 15 seconds, otherwise the base unit exits acquisition mode.
4. On completion, close the sensor casing and tighten the screws once more.
5. Repeat the operation for the other sensors in the network. When all the sensors have been installed and associated, close the control
unit casing.
TESTING
To activate testing mode on the base unit, press and hold the STOP key and briefly press the PROG key.
Press the edge or break the photocell beam and check that:
1. the LED on the sensor remains fixed and on
2. the red LED on the base unit comes on
3. Press the PROG key to exit TEST mode and move on to SCANNING TIME CONFIGURATION.
RESET BASE UNIT CONFIGURATION
To delete the configuration of a base unit, it is necessary to press and hold the PROG key on the base unit until the red LED starts to flash,
then release the key. The base unit has been reset, repeat the RADIO CHANNEL CONFIGURATION procedure.
