1. General/Location
Before you set up the microscope, you must choose a suitable
location. First make sure that your microscope is on a stable
and solid surface.
An electricity supply is required for observation with the elec-
tric illuminator.
2. Electric Illumination
It works by plugging the connection cable into the microscope
and the electricity supply. The On/off switch (Fig. 16, 2) must
be switched on.
Your microscope is equipped with a built-in rechargeable
battery. This has a charge time of 16 hours, when it is com-
pletely discharged. A fully charged battery allows hours of ob-
servation. Before using the microscope for the first time the
rechargeable battery should be charged for 16 hours. Please
charge it by connecting the microscope to power outlet using
the included AC adapter (Fig. 14).
3. Microscope setup
The microscope's viewing (Fig. 1-4) will now be prepared for
the first observation. First, rotate the eyepiece into a conven-
ient position. Begin every observation with the lowest magnifi-
cation. Place the microscope stage (Fig. 1, 8) with the focus
knob (Fig. 1, 9) into the lowest position and rotate the objective
revolver (Fig. 1, 6) until it locks on the lowest magnification (4x).
