EA 103
Magnesium anode
Package EA 103 comprises:
- 1 magnesium anode
- 1 accessories pack
The magnesium anode can replace the titanium anode fitted in the
factory.
The anode must be fitted before starting up the calorifier.
1. Use a new leak tight seal (ref. 95013133) for the calorifier flange
(unless using a new tank).
2. Cut the power supply to the boiler.
3. Cut off the cold water supply and drain the DHW tank. To drain
though the safety unit, turn the unit to drain and turn on a hot
water tap (or a bleed valve) to allow air to enter.

4. Remove the front panel and the sensors.
5. Remove the cover (13 mm spanner).
6. Remove the titanium anode.

7. Fit the magnesium anode and replace the leak tight seal on the
flange, making sure that the tab is placed outside the calorifier.
8. After fitting, check the tightness of the seal on the calorifier.

The flange mounting bolts must not be excessively tight: 6
Nm +1/-0 (use a torque wrench).
Nota: Approximately 6 Nm is obtained by holding the box
spanner by the small lever.
