3 Installing partition grille
7N0 017 221 B
Note
We recommend that the installation be carried out with the as‐
sistance of a second person.
– Press rubber pad -2- into hole of partition grille -1-.
Note
The assembly of the partition grille on the right side is per‐
formed in the same manner.
– Remove luggage compartment cover.
– Fold rear seat backrest forwards.
– Carry partition grille through opened sliding door and posi‐
tion in installation position.
– Fold open lashing eye -A-.
– Screw nut -10- onto left threaded rod -9-.
– Slide washer -5- onto threaded rod.
– Slide partition -1- onto threaded rod.
– Screw star head nut -14- with washer -5- onto left threaded
rod -9-.
Note
Do not fully tighten the star shaped nuts -14-.
– Secure left threaded rod -9- with mushroom head bolt -11-,
counter plate -7-, washer -6- and star shaped nut -13- to
lashing eye -A-.
– Secure partition to right lashing eye in same manner.
– Press rubber pad -2- into hole of left support -3-.
Note
The right support -4- is assembled in the same manner.
