Suspended Ceilings (if required)
If you wish to install the heater onto a ceiling with suspended tiles, follow
these instructions:
1. Select a ceiling tile in the desired location.
2. Use the mounting bracket as a template to mark the tile with the appropriate drill
hole(s).
3. Create a mounting board (see below) 2.54 cm (1 inch) thick and 5.1cm x60.33cm
(2" x 23.75") in length.
4. Remove the marked tile from the ceiling. Position the mounting board behind the tile
and the marked drill holes. Make sure the ends of the mounting board and the tile
are aligned.
5. Drill 1/8" hole(s) THROUGH THE TILE AND MOUNTING BOARD WHERE MARKED.
6. Using the hardware supplied, attach the mounting bracket to the mounting board with
the ceiling tile sandwiched in between.
7. Reinstall assembled heater bracket/ceiling tile/mounting board in ceiling.
3. ATTACH HEATER TO MOUNTING BRACKET
NOTE: Always turn the screw out of the nut and each arm first before attaching
the heater to the mounting bracket. ALWAYS remember to replace the screws and
nut back to each arm after you finish attaching the heater. Failing to do so will
create a hazard, causing the heater to slide out of the mounting bracket and fall.
1. Your heater is equipped with rotating arms at each end of the unit. To conserve space
in shipment these are in line with the heater and must be repositioned before
installation.
2. With your heater laying face down, rotate each arm slowly upwards until they are
perpendicular to the heater. For safety reasons, once rotated, the arms cannot be
returned to their original position.
3. Turn the screw out of the nut and each arm first, then grip both arms and insert onto
the mounting bracket until it locks into place.
4. Replace the screws back to each arm and nut after the heater is attached to the
mounting bracket. ALWAYS remember to replace the screw back to each arm and nut
after the heater is attached to the mounting bracket. Failing to do so will cause the
heater to slide out of the mounting bracket and create a risk of it falling down.
