Extracting contaminated oil
➤ Close the quick service coupling (fig. 1 5, page 3) on the high-pressure
connection of the air conditioner.
➤ Hold the sight glass (fig. 2 3, page 3) vertical (blue at the top).
➤ Slowly open the low-pressure shut-off valve (fig. 2 1, page 3) until the
refrigerant has been completely drawn out of the sight glass.
➤ If necessary, use a separate disposal unit for emptying the residue.
➤ Ensure that the sight glass is depressurized.
➤ Close the low-pressure coupling on the vehicle.
➤ Release the low-pressure quick coupling (fig. 1 4, page 3) and the high-
pressure quick coupling from the vehicle.
➤ Open the sight glass in the depressurized state and feed the oil inside to
the waste oil disposal.
➤ Clean the sight glass (chapter "Cleaning and maintenance" on page 20).
➤ Evacuate the oil checker through the service connection (fig. 2 7,
page 3).

Ending the test and returning the oil
➤ Close the quick service coupling (fig. 1 5, page 3) on the high-pressure
connection of the air conditioner.
