The appliance cannot be used in anaesthetic breathing systems or lung ventilator breathing systems.
The correct unit functioning may be adversely affected by electromagnetic interferences exceeding the levels
stated by the actual European norms EN60601-1-2.
IMPORTANT ADVICES BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE
Please place the device on a flat surface.
The nebulizer has not to be positioned to make it difficult to unplug the device when it is in use
INFORMATION BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH THE USE OF THE PRODUCT
The volume of the ampoule is 10 cc for medicine while the capacity of the tank is 5-6cc for water.
IMPORTANT NOTE: never add medical or other chemical solutions DIRECTLY into the product WITHOUT THE
AMPOULE MEDICINE HOLDER.
Nebulisation:
1) Pour 5~6cc pure water into the reservoir (using the medicine cup)
2) Put the medicine cup into the reservoir
3) Pour the drug into the medicine cup
4) Put the entire upper cover back on the main body carefully
NOTE: do not pour the drug or water into the vent of main body.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR A CORRECT USE OF THE PRODUCT
Because the device is not sterile, before using go on with cleaning and disinfection operations indicated in the
specific paragraph. Dosage indication and use limitations provided by disinfectant producer.
Nebulisation with medicine cup
1. Take the cover away
2. Pour 5~6cc of water into the reservoir
3. Never place the reservoir under the faucet for water filling
4. Put the medication cup into the reservoir. Fill the cup with 10cc drug max. After having checked the medication
cup is in the correct position, put the upper cover back on the main unit and insert the accessory you want to use
(tube, mask, mouthpiece and nasal fork).
5. Plug in the adapter and then connect to the power source.
6. Switch the nebuliser on and start the treatment. Be sure that the LED is on. The blue light indicates a high intensity
nebulisation that is 13 ± 2 minutes at most; the yellow light, indicates a lower intensity nebulisation, that is 26 ± 2
minutes at most. Once the drug has ended, the appliance turns itself off automatically.
Before going on with therapy, to verify the correct assembly of each component turn on the appliance and control
that the nebulized drug goes out under the shape of vapour, only from the openings of the inserted accessory.
Thereby you can go on with therapy.
When the nebulisation stops means the treatment has ended. Please unplug the appliance and start cleaning the
unit.
7. While you are using the appliance never hold or slope it. Never remove the main unit.
We recommend to use a single medicinal holder for a maximum of 2 treatments, and then replace it.
In case of appliance working without nebulization, verify the presence of the medicinal, make sure that accessories,
medicine cup and connection tube are correctly inserted and that possible impurities (dry medicinal, dust or other
residues) don't obstruct air leakage.
