Attention! During this installation it is highly
recommended to take pictures throughout
the disassembly process. Take notice also
how the factory wiring is routed throughout
the fairing. This will have to be duplicated
in reassembly.
1. The removal of the fairing doesn't
require the removal of the windshield or
headlight assembly.
2. Remove (6) T25 Torx screws from the
inner fairing. (Figure A)
3. Remove (4) 1/2" nuts holding the turn
signal and running light assemblies to
the lower fairing mount. (Figure B)

6. Wire management will be key to getting
the aftermarket fairing installed. It is
highly recommended to take multiple
images of how the OE harness is laid
out as well as the back of the gauges for
ease of reinstallation.
7. Unplug all connectors including gauges,
radio, and speakers.
8. With the panel removal tool, remove the
two plastic panel clips holding the inner
fairing to the radio bracket.
Note: These clips will not be reused on
the 95-HDIF2 inner fairing.
