– No changes may be made to the components that are part of the drive system.
– The installer must submit all information regarding manual operation of the system in the event of emergencies and hand
over this installation manual, enclosed with the product, to the operator of the system.
– Neither children nor adults may be within the immediate vicinity of the gate system during operation.
– The radio controllers and all other pulse generators must be kept out of the reach of children in order to prevent accidental
activation of the drive.
– The operator should not carry out any repairs themselves or intervene directly in the automated system, but should seek
out a qualified, trained technician for this purpose.
– Do not discard used batteries in household waste! Corresponding collection boxes are commercially available.
– All practices not explicitly mentioned in the present instruction manual are not permitted.Pre-installation checks.
CHECK BEFORE THE INSTALLATION
In order to guarantee the required level of safety as well as smooth operation of the drive, the following must be
checked beforehand:
– The gate must be suitable for the drive. It must in particular be ensured that it is robust and rigid.
– The dimensions and weight must meet the specifications of the technical properties.
– Check that movement of the gate is frictionless and smooth, i.e. the gate must not rub against or collide with anything else
when moving.
Mechanical end stops must be provided in the gate OPEN and gate CLOSED positions.
– Remove any locks and barriers.
AFTER THE INSTALLATION
– There is an increased risk of injury in the immediate vicinity of the posts.
– Do not purposefully interfere with the movement of the gate.
– Branches and bushes must not interfere with operation of the automatic gate system.
– The illuminated display systems should always be functional and clearly visible.
– The wings should only be moved manually after release.
– In the event of faults, the drive must be released in order to allow access.
– We recommend having the operability of the gate system, safety devices and accessory devices checked by qualified
trained personnel at least every six months.
