6. Lens mounting and settings

Remove dust cover N before the installation of the lens.
Screw the lens on and plug at lenses with automatic iris control the lens cable into
jack „LENS"
Insert C-Mount-Ring K when using a C-Mount lens
After the camera is connected to the power supply and a monitor, adjust the sensitivity
with potentiometer D. If the sensitivity control is turned too much in counterclockwise
direction, the amplification of the camera is increased by the AGC function and the
picture becomes noisy (grainy).
After the camera is connected to the power supply and a monitor, adjust the sensitivity
with the LEVEL potentiometer at the lens. The AVG (average) position is recommended
for standard applications. If the sensitivity control is turned too much in counter-
clockwise direction, the amplification of the camera is increased by the AGC function
and the picture becomes noisy (grainy). Refer to the operation manual of the lens for
further information.
