Protecting a file
By setting a file to be protected, you can prevent the file from being accidentally
deleted. To protect a file:

Use the control buttons to select the file to be
protected, and then press the MENU/OK button to
enter menu.

Select the [Protect] icon (
OK button.

Select the [Check] icon (
OK button to confirm.

A lock ( ) icon will appear on the screen, and the file is protected.
This function cannot prevent a file from being formatted.
