Taking a still picture

Mode switch

Set the mode switch to still picture mode (

Adjust the focus as appropriate:
Mode
Micro mode
Macro mode

Use the control buttons to zoom in/out the image until a proper picture is set.

Press the shutter button to take a still picture.
The zoom function will be disabled if resolution is set to M.
If you press and hold down the shutter button, you can take pictures continuously (with
a few seconds of interval after every shot).
You can press the MENU/OK button to access more functions such as flash, self-timer...
etc. See "Advanced Operations" for more details.
