Loading the magazine

Attention
Use only the driving objects listed (see technical data, section 1.2).
To load the magazine proceed as follows:
1.Push a strip of rings onto the magazine. The tips of
the rings must be facing away from the tool.
2. Pull the feeder shoe on the protection cap up over
the strip of rings and guide it against the rings. Ne-
ver allow the feeder shoe to snap freely against
the hog rings.
4.2
Working with the hog ring tool
Note the operating safety and accident prevention instructions.
Guide the ring that is between the clamped jaws, over the work pieces and pull the trigger.
A new ring will be brought into the working position as soon as the trigger is released.
Attention
Movement of the jaws must not be prevented by an external influence. Holding the jaws closed may
damage the tool.
4.3
Troubleshooting
If a ring gets stuck in the jaws, proceed as described below, whilst observing the safety requirements:
1. Pull the feeder shoe up and then guide it back down past the length of rings.
2. Pull the trigger back and hold it in this position.
3. Pull the strip of rings back and remove them from the magazine.
4.Release the trigger.

The driver moves down to lower position
5. Pull the trigger several times, if necessary, in order to remove a stuck ring.
Attention
If the fault cannot be removed, pass the tool to a competent person for repair.
