7. If the yellow "FAILED" LED lights, the test has run to completion without
tripping the device. This suggests:
• A wiring problem with a fully operable AFCI or GFCI device, or
• Proper wiring with a faulty AFCI or GFCI device. Consult an electrician
to check the condition of the wiring and device.
• No ground wire present in the outlet (GFCI test only).
8. Repeat steps 5 through 7 for every receptacle on the circuit.
