Installation
Regarding the box, it is equipped with 4 circular knockouts of 28 mm and 1 rectangular 140 x 40
mm to allow access of wiring to the box (Letter A figure 1).
To install the box to the wall, there are 4 holes distributed on the back side near the corners. 2
rounds in the bottom of 8 mm diameter and 2 oval on top (Letter B figure 1).
It is recommended to use cable of 2 x 1,5mm twisted, shielded and halogens free for the fault
and 30V output. The output wiring of batteries will be supplied with the equipment. It is
important for the 30V output to keep in mind the resistance of the cable, length and charge to
calculate the appropriate section of the cable section; 2.5 mm maximum.
Therefore, the installation of the control panel is as follows (see Figure 1):
Check that the place where the equipment will be installed is according to the
temperature and humidity of the operating equipment (-5ºC ~ +40ºC / 20% ~ 93%).
Check that there is enough space to put the equipment and that nothing hinders its
proper ventilation.
Check that the equipment is in good condition. Otherwise do not continue installing the
equipment and contact your dealer.
Remove the door of the box by removing the bolts of the corners (Letter C Figure 1).
Make the necessary holes for attaching the panel to the wall. Keep in mind the holes in
the corners of the chest.
Open knockouts required for passing cables to the control panel (Letter A Figure 1).
Mount the box on the wall using the holes (Letter B Figure 1).
Place two 12V 7Ah batteries in the boxt of power source.
Make the necessary connections according to the installation requirements, the
equipment used and the power source.
The power source must be connected to the 3 power terminal network (phase, neutral
and ground), as shown in Figure 5.
Connect the equipment to the network and then connect the corresponding batteries.
During the first 30 seconds the equipment does a self test. After these 30 seconds the
equipment must be idle (red led on, battery led and fault led off).
Having to manipulate the label holder, be careful with the ground cable that connects one of
its pin with the pin of the box and the cable connector that connects the control circuit
with the switching power.
Note 1: Any connection and/ or manipulation of the external power supply must be done
disconnected of the electrical network and batteries.
Note 2: the box is designed with an IP30 protection index. If it is necessary to open the
side knockouts for cable passage (letter A in Figure 1), consideration should be given to
blocking the remaining space of the hole, for example with cable glands, to keep this
same protection.
