Important! The fitting must be installed, flushed and
tested after the valid norms.
Adjustment
Correction is necessary if the temperature measured at the
take off point differs from the temperature set on the scale.
To adjust temperature proceed as follows: Turn the setting
knob until water at a temperature of 38 C comes out of the
outlet. Loosen screw of setting knob. Remove setting knob
and turn to the 38 C position. Attach setting knob again
and tighten the screw (please see page 65).

Temperature limitation

The temperature is limited by the safety check to 38 C
(100 F). If a higher temperature is required, it is possible to
override the safety stop by depressing the safety button.

Safety Function

The desired maximum temperature for example max.
42 C can be pre-set thanks to the safety function.(see
page 64)

Maintenance
There is no special maintenance for thermostats.
The non return valves must be checked regularly according
to DIN EN 1717 in accordance with national or regional
regulations (at least once a year).
At this time, please also check the filter (13.1) situated
on the MTC-ther-moelement (13). After assembling the
MTC-thermo-element, it is necessary to check the water
temperature at the take off point as described under the
headline „adjustment". Before the adjustment, please
check, if the warm water supply is activated and the
maximum temperature of the warm water is available at
the take off point.
To guarantee the smooth running of the thermostat, it is
necessary from time to time to turn the thermostat from
total hot to total cold.
