A1.9 Identification of the backwashing circuit
On the cover of this instruction manual the manufacturer marks with an X the reference table of the type of program
set in the circuit of the sold filter. Inside the circuit protection carter, close to the D.I.P. switch, a label for the
identification of the program is located, in case of loss of the instruction manual.
A2 INSTRUCTIONS FOR PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
A2.1 Ordinary maintenance

A2.2 Inactivity
After a period of inactivity of less than 30 days carry out the cleaning operation repeatedly (4-5 times) keeping the
filter in discharge position for 30 seconds in order to allow an adequate flushing of the filter.
After a period of inactivity longer than 30 days the filter must be sanitized.
The term "inactivity period" indicate a period in which the water distribution system remains completely closed
without withdrawal from tap (e.g. during holydays).
In case the hydraulic distribution system was subjected to a cleaning and sanitization it would be necessary to include
the filter in the intervention as well. The sanitization is part of the extraordinary maintenance and it must be
performed by qualified personnel only.

A2.3 Periodic checks
It is advisable to make a biannual check by an authorized technician to verify the proper operation of the equipment.
A2.4 Extraordinary maintenance
Extraordinary maintenance or repair may affect the functional and/or safety features if improperly executed: all these
operations are deliberately omitted in this manual. Hence all extraordinary maintenance and repair operations not
covered in this manual should be performed by authorized Acqua Brevetti SRL personnel only or by a local delegate
specifically authorized.
Acqua Brevetti SRL has created and organized an efficient local technical assistance extended to the whole country
with trained technicians who are available to assist you in order to ensure the proper operation of the equipment. In
case of damages or peculiar problems please contact Acqua Brevetti SRL.

Daily/weekly maintenance – Dirt removal
BravoMAX A filter is equipped with a timed device able to activate the filter backwashing
every 2-4-6-8 or 12-24-36-48 hours.
Pressing the black button located on the front panel of the filter it is possible to launch a
washing cycle.
Warning! In order to obtain an effective cleaning of the filter a minimum water
pressure of 2 bar is required. For this purpose it is possible to close temporarily
