Set the splint hook so that the distance
between the hook and the rear edge of the
shell is approximately as long as your foot.
Sit down on the chair with sufficient space in
the immediate vicinity and place the donning
aid with the base plate on the floor. Anchor
the hook around the leg of a chair, securing the
donning aid against forwards movement.
