Vertise
Directions For Use
Vertise™ Flow composite is a self-adhesive, light-cured, resin-
based composite dental restorative designed for direct place-
ment. By incorporating Kerr's OptiBond adhesion technology,
Vertise™ Flow composite eliminates the additional steps of
etching/priming/bonding otherwise necessary to bond a
resin composite to dentin and enamel. Vertise™ Flow com-
posite offers high bond strength, high mechanical strength,
and other physical attributes comparable to traditional
flowable composites. Vertise™ Flow composite is indicated
for small Class I and base/liner for Class I and II restorations.
Additional indications include pit and fissure sealant, repair
of enamel defects, repair of porcelain restoration, blocking
of undercut, minor occlusal build-ups in non-stress bearing
areas, and incisal abrasions.
Vertise™ Flow composite is available in a variety of shades.
Shade is indicated on the label of each syringe.
Storage:
• Store between 2-8°C (36 -46°F).
• Refrigerate immediately upon receipt and when not in use.
• Allow material to reach room temperature prior to use.
• Expiration date is marked on all packaging. Do not use
after expiration date.
To stop unwanted paste flow from tip, pull back the plunger
after dispensing.
It is recommended that a reliable, high-quality, visible light
source (such as Kerr's Demi Curing Light, L.E.Demetron II, or
Optilux 501) be used to cure this product.
Shield Vertise™ Flow composite from visible light prior to use.
PRIOR TO PLACEMENT
Recommendations on proper placement
• Isolate tooth from adjacent teeth. Use clear thin strips.
Rubber dam is highly recommended.
• Dry dentin surfaces are shown to enhance bond strengths.
• Vertise™ Flow composite is self-adhesive and therefore
does not require etching or bonding protocol prior to
placement.
