− Loosen the handle (a4) on the attachable
handle (3) by turning the camp knob (a5)
counter-clockwise.
− Guide the drill chuck (1) of the impact drill
through the attachable handle (3).
− Then turn the attachable handle (3) to the
position which you could handle best.
− Turn the clamp knob (a5) clockwise until the
attachable handle (3) sits tightly and can no
longer be moved.
2. DEPTH STOP
With the depth stop (3.1) you can drill several holes
with the same drilling depth.
− Press the depth stop adjuster (3.2) on the
attachable handle (3).
− Guide the depth stop (3.1) through the
opening on the attachable handle (3).
− Press the depth stop adjuster to set the
desired drilling depth.
− Pull the depth stop out far enough so that
the distance between the point of the
drill and the point of the depth stop is the
desired drilling depth.
3. CHOOSING A DRILL
− Drills are not included. Every work piece
and material needs to be drilled with its
designated drill.
− Please inform yourself before drilling,
otherwise you might cause damages on the
impact drill.
4. CHANGING THE DRILL CHUCK
Push the spindle lock button (12), you can change
the drill chuck easily. And release it after finished the
changing.
NOTE:
When operating a power tool outdoors,
connect them with a residual current
circuit-breaker.
5. INSERTING A DRILL
DANGER OF BURNS!
The chuck may be very hot.
During longer working periods, especially
when impact drilling, the chuck can
become very hot. In this case we
recommend wearing protective gloves if
you want to change the drill.
− Place the drill chuck key (2) in one of the side
holes (see ill.1) of the drill chuck (1) and turn
the drill chuck key (2) clockwise.
− Insert the designated drill into the drill chuck
(1) opening
− Tighten the drill by turning the drill chuck
14
key (2) counter-clockwise.
− Make sure that the drill fits correctly into
the drill chuck (1). Loosen drills might cause
accidents!
− Conduct a short test-run and make sure that
the drill sits tightly even after a complete
run.
Operation
Special safety advice
Always wear ear protection!
Exposure to loud noise can cause loss of
hearing.
Wear a dust mask!
While drilling concrete and other materials
unhealthy dust might be produced.
Wear eye protection!
While working, sparks or flying splinters,
shavings and dust can cause loss of vision.
Wear protective cloths!
While working, flying sparks and splinters
might cause injuries.
Special work advice
− Only connect the power plug with a socket
when the power tool is turned off.
− Never use the power tool in a humid
environment.
− Never place the drill chuck key (2) into the
drill chuck (1) during operation.
− Attach drills and screws to the impact drill
only when it is turned off.
− Keep the handles dry and free from oil and
grease.
− Make sure that there is no water or electricity
conduit behind the place to be drilled.
− Do not cover the ventilation slots to avoid an
overheating of the power tool.
− If the motor has intensely overheated, allow
it to run idle for 2 to 3 minutes on maximum
rotation speed.
− If it is possible, fix the work piece on a
workbench.
NOTA:
Cuando se trabaja con herramientas
eléctricas a la intemperie, conectarlas a un
interruptor diferencial.
