1. DRILLING/IMPACT DRILLING
NOTE:
When you would like to drill deep holes
in hard materials, such as steel or tiles,
we recommend that you first pre-drill
the hole with a small drill. Start drilling with a low
rotation speed then change stepwise to a high
rotation speed. There is a better control of the drill
and cracked drill holes are prevented.
For drilling/impact drilling the selector switch (4)
needs to be set. Please make sure that it is only set
when the power tool is turned off.
The following table shows which position should be
used:

2. DRILLING TILE
− Set the drilling/impact drilling selector switch
(4) on the Drill position and drill the hole.
− Set the drilling/impact drilling selector
switch (4) on the position
drill has penetrated the tile.
3. Screwing in/loosening screws
− Set the drilling/impact drilling selector
switch (4) to the position (drilling)
− Choose the desired rotation direction (see
Selecting the rotation direction)
− Use a low rotation speed.
4. Setting the rotation speed
− By pressing the on/off switch (9), you can set
the rotation speed during idle operation.
The optimal rotation speed depends on the
work piece, the operation mode, and the
inserted drill.
− A light pressure on the on/off switch (9)
means a low rotation speed (intended
for small/short screws and soft working
materials)
− A greater pressure on the on/off switch (9)
means a higher rotation speed (intended
for large/long screws and hard working
materials).

5. Selecting the rotation direction
− Do not set the left/right rotation switch (11)
during operation.
− The rotation direction is always according to
the switch position.
− Switch position R: right-rotation/forward/
clockwise. To drill and to screw in screws,
push the right/left rotation switch (11) to the
left until the stop.
− Switch position L: left-rotation/backwad/
counter-clockwise. To loosen or pull out
screws and nuts, push the right/left rotation
switch (11) to the right until the stop.
6. Switching on/off
− First insert a designated drill/screw bit into the
power tool (see Before operation).
− Connect the power plug to a designated outlet.
− Attach the impact drill directly to the drill spot.
− Press and hold the on/off switch (9) to switch
the machine on.
− To switch the machine off, release the on/off
switch (9).
7. Long duration operation
Danger of accident!
If the machine should fall out of your hand during
long duration operation, it will not automatically
shut off. In this situation, pull out the power plug
immediately and turn the machine off. To ensure a
safe long duration operation:
− Hold the machine securely every time.
− Always keep one finger on the on/off switch
to be able to turn it off quickly.
For long duration operation, you can press the
tightening knob (5) once. The on/off switch (9) must
be pressed for this. The machine will stay on, until
the on/off switch is pressed quickly once again.
Danger of injury!
Care and maintenance
Before all care and maintenance work:
- Turn the machine off.
- Wait until the machine has come to a
complete standstill.
- Pull out the power plug
1. Cleaning
− Clean the machine regularly after each use
from dust, shaving, wood splinters, etc.
− Clean the machine with a moist cloth and
soft detergent. Do not use any detergents or
solution; these can corrode the plastic parts
of the machine. Make sure that no water
reaches the inside of the machine.
2. Servicing
− There are no parts inside of the machine
which require maintenance by the user.
