3. Preparing for use

Your dealer has installed your Kiruna for
you. The drive motors should be fitted
by an Auping specialist only.
For other parts and detailed installation
instructions, we refer you to the
installation cards included with the
various parts.
3.1 Preparing for use
• Check that the Kiruna can move
freely.
• Only adjust the Kiruna while it is in a
horizontal position, securely fixed to
the supporting legs.
• Put the plug into the socket.
3.2 Installing the RF remote control
and receiver*
Press the connect button on the
receiver for 5 seconds. The green light
will start blinking. Press any button on
the remote control, for adjusting the
bed, until the green light stops blinking,
indicating the remote control and
receiver are connected now. The bed
base can now be adjusted with the
remote control. Please repeat this

3.3. Placing the RF receiver on the
base frame*
Remove the protective foil
from the adhesive tape
and place the receiver on
the bottom of the base
frame near the side of the
bed, for
reception.
Place the receiver at the same tube that
holds the control unit.
Secure by using the tie-wrap around
receiver and steel tube.
