2. APPLICATION
P-258/2 two-channel remote control operating as a radio transmitter for RWS-211 (RWS-211/N)
power switch, BSR-207 wireless lock controller, SR-NT, SR-PT roller blind controller, RT-219
retransmitter.
3. OPERATION
After the push-button pushing the remote control transmits 433.92 MHz signal that controls Y
series receivers. The device programming procedure (entering the transmitter into the receiver
memory) is described in the instruction manuals for the STIRO system individual receivers. The
operating range may be extended by maximum 200 m* (in dependence of the receiver) with the
use of some RT-219 retransmitters.
4. BATTERY EXCHANGE
When there is no reaction of the receiver and the remote control transmitting diode it is necessary
to exchange the batteries according to the following instructions:
1. Unscrew the two mounting screws placed in the remote control lower part.
2. Remove the upper cover together with the silicone keyboard.
3. Remove the batteries from the battery holder.
4. Insert new batteries according to the appropriate polarisation.
5. Place the upper cover together with the keyboard and tighten the mounting screws.
NOTE! After inserting the batteries push the transmission push-button several times in order to
check correctness of operating.
If there is no transmitter reaction, exchange the same battery once again.
5. INTEROPERATION AND OPERATING RANGE*
* The given range concerns opened area i.e. perfect conditions, without obstacles. If between
the transmitter and the receiver obstacles are found, then it can be expected smaller range for:
wood and plaster from 5 to 20%, the brick from 20 to 40%, armed concrete from 40 up to 80%.
By metallic obstacles applying radio systems isn't being recommended from the attention for
considerable limiting the radius. Also overhead and underground power lines have the negative
influence on the range of big power and transmitters of the GSM network put in the walking
distance of devices.
