INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE SAFETY OF THE OPERATOR AND THE PATIENT
The intensity of the light emitted by the polymerizing lamp can cause
irreparable damage to the retina and it is therefore necessary to wear
suitable P.P.E. (personal protective equipment) and observe some
precautions for use:
• Never look directly at the light source.
• Never point the lamp at the patient's eyes or those of any other person.
• Do not switch on the lamp until you have positioned it in the patient's
mouth.
• Do not switch on the lamp without light guide.
• Put the switch in the "OFF" position when carrying out maintenance and/or
clearing work.
• The lamp must be used exclusively by trained personnel.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
• Put the protective cap on the light guide whenever you position the hand
piece on the power supply unit.
In order to avoid injury to people and damage to property, the instructions
contained in this booklet must be followed scrupulously.
