USE OF THE REFRIGERATOR COMPARTMENT
t
hermostat
The temperature selection button is located on the back of your refrigerator.
Turn the thermostat button clockwise: the appliance starts up automatically.
Setting "1" is the highest available temperature, i.e. the warmest setting.
Setting "7" is the lowest available temperature, i.e. the coldest setting.
- For optimal food preservation, set the thermostat to "4" (see diagram above). This setting
is for properly preserving fresh food.
- If you want to cool fresh foods quickly or you are using the appliance for the first time, choose
the "7" setting, making sure that the temperature in the refrigeration zone does not drop below
0°C. In this case, set the thermostat to "4" again.
- The temperature inside the appliance is a function of several factors, such as the room
temperature, the quantity of food stored, the frequency of the door opening, etc.
The "0" setting corresponds to the appliance's "off" position.
To completely shut down the refrigerator, unplug it from the power point.
Note: When the thermostat is set to the "7" position, you may hear the compressor running at
more regular intervals.

If the appliance is unplugged, switched off or in the event of a power failure, you
should wait 3 to 5 minutes before restarting it. Do not attempt to turn it on again
before this time has elapsed as the appliance will not start up again.
•
It is best to install the appliance in the coolest part of the room to reduce energy
consumption. When the temperature in the room is too high, the refrigerator
temperature cannot reach the desired value.
