1. See Setup (page 9) to prepare the pump for operation.
2. Press the power button once. The startup screen will appear (Figure 3).
N N o o t t e e - - The pump will detect either the standard or premium support surface.
3. The pump, on start up, pumps air into the left bladder to determine which compatible mattress is connected.
4. If the pump detects there are no turn bladders, the pump will show the standard software support surface display (Figure
4).

5. If the pump detects there are turn bladders, the pump will show the premium software support surface display (Figure
5).
