When
the
temperature
switches off, this means that the selected
temperature has been reached. You can
now start ironing.
WARNING: Never touch the hot base before
it has cooled down!
Steam ironing
Place the appliance on a stable and level
surface.
Always place the iron on the thermal
insulation fixture.
Hold the water tank handle and pull
horizontally.
Fill the water tank through the upper hole.
We recommend that you use purified water
with less chalk particles (limescale). The
maximum capacity of the water tank is
1.2 litres and the water level should never
excess the "MAX" mark.
Place the water tank back in its correct
position.
Connect the power cable plug to the wall
socket; the appliance switches on.
Turn the temperature button to the
intended setting, which depends on the
item's fabric; the temperature indicator
lights up and the iron begins to heat.
When
the
temperature
switches off, this means that the selected
temperature has been reached. You can
now start steam ironing.
Press the steam button gently, the steam
will be sprayed from the base continuously,
for steam ironing.
NOTE: Water may drip during the spraying
of the steam when the temperature is
lower than position 2 of the temperature
button. This is normal.
If you want to activate the "Steam shot"
indicator
function to remove difficult creases,
continuously press the steam button twice
to produce a shot of steam.
CARE TO BE TAKEN:
– Never touch the hot base at any time
before it has cooled down!
– Never point the steam towards people!
– Do not activate the steam iron when the
iron is placed on the base of the unit so as
to prevent burns from steam.
After ironing, disconnect the power cable
plug from the wall socket. However, the
base will continue hot, so it should not be
touched with your hands.
CAUTION
during operation or after ironing,
never place the hot base on
anything other than the thermal
insulation fixture.
