Dear customer,
Congratulations on your purchase of a Coleman Air awning.
We take pride in bringing you a quality product which will offer you years of pleasure. Your new item is an investment which deserves
your care and attention. This manual has been compiled to help you to operate your product correctly. It contains details of the
product, its equipment, and information on its operation and maintenance. Read it carefully and familiarize yourself with the product
before using it.
CAUTION
Important Notice:
Under Certain Weather conditions, condensation can occur on the inside surface of your awning.
To prevent condensation in your awning, please ensure adequate ventilation.
Condensation should not be confused with leaking.
• Always practice at home prior to your first usage on the campsite. Always follow the setup/inflation instructions written in this manual.
• Find a flat piece of ground, far from trees to avoid falling branches, sap... that could damage your awning.
• Be sure the area is clear of sharp stones, rocks, debris to avoid damaging the groundsheet.
• Unpack the awning and clearly identify all separate parts of your awnings – Awning, Poles bag, stakes bag, Repair Kit, Dual Hand Pump
and Manometer.
• Unroll and lay your awning flat in the required position next to your vehicle. the awning connection tunnel shall face your campervan side
entrance.
• Try to setup your awning with main entrance facing away from the wind.
1. SetUp/Inflation Instruction
1.1.
Take the awning piping and slide it through the awning channel, until the awning is in the desired position on the vehicle. Coleman
recommend the usage of a separate kit made of 6mm Double kador strip and a figure of 8 to ensure and easier and more
comfortable process. (Fig. U)
1.2.
Your product is equipped with one type of valve: High pressure valve. there are located inside the awning and accessible through the
main doors and the small zipped openings. (Fig. B)
1.3.
to inflate, open the valve cover by turning it anticlockwise. (Fig. c, D)
1.4
Check and make sure the spring loaded pin is not depressed and locked in the open position. To verify that the valve is not open,
check the position of the pin. If the pin is down, the valve is opened. to close it, push the pin so it springs back up. Now the valve is
closed and ready for inflation.
1.5.
All inflation is done in the closed position (Fig. 1) and deflation is done in the open position. (Fig. 2)
1.6.
to attach the pump hose to the high pressure valve, push the fitting into the valve and turn clock wise to lock it (Fig. E, F, G). Inflate
until you have reached the required pressure of 6.5 - 7 PsI (448 - 483mbar). (Fig. H)

Note: To help the awning inflate to its correct structure a gentle lift on the inflatable sections maybe required.
WARNING
1.7.
After inflation is done and you reached the correct pressure, disconnect the hose from the valve (turn the pump fitting anticlockwise)
and close the valve cover.
Note: The valve will not be completely airtight until closed with the valve cover tightened.
1.8.
Inflate all awning poles by reproducing §1.3 to §1.7.
1.9.
(If applicable) - to set the side entrance pole porch
1.9.1. take the aluminum pole and assemble the pole line by slotting sections together – all sections are maintained with shock
cords.
1.9.2. Insert the pole line in its corresponding pole sleeve – the pole sleeve is located at the edge of the side door porch (Fig. I).
1.9.3. Insert all pole ends into corresponding plastic connectors (Fig. J).
1.10. Close all doors zippers.
1.11. Peg each corners of your awning. For this, use the four V-shaped metal stakes. Ensure a proper tension between all pegs and make
sure the awning shape is rectangle. (Fig. A)
1.12. Placing pegs
1.12.1. Use steel rod pegs all around the awning. (Fig. K)
1.12.2. Use plastic pegs for guylines and storm straps. (Fig. L)
1.12.3. Use flat head rod pegs for entrance flat door and porch strap. (Fig. m)
1.13. Always use all guy lines and straps. take care that awning is not distorted under guy lines and straps tension by adjusting runner's
and buckles position. check guy lines and straps tension regularly along your stay.
1.14. If you suspect an air-leak, check that air valve is closed properly, both pin loaded spring and outer cover.
1.15. If air pole is still leaking, a complete check of the inner tube is needed. Please refer to maintenance part of this manual.
It is the owner's responsibility to make sure that all users will carefully read and follow the manual and
instructions for the safe operation of this product.
Do not over inflate your awning since pressure could increase during rising temperatures over your camping stay.
