Steady does not raise or lower in or automatic
or parking function.
Check:
•
Contact on the motor plug connector
•
The plug connector on the control unit
•
The motor cable for breaks
Should the steady no longer automatically oper-
ate, then a change over to emergency operation
(see 8.0) must be made.
If none of the outward defects described can be
seen or emergency operation has been activated,
a visit must be made to a suitable garage.
Have the voltage on the motor plug measured
(motor = 12 – 28V DC).
Press the respective manual function button for
this!
... If voltage is available, replace the complete
drive unit!
... If no voltage, then send in the control unit incl.
the remote control for checking.
Repeat procedure:
If unsuccessful follow the following points:
Move the steady in/out by pushing the relevant
manual function button (1,2,3,4).
If function is now ok
Check the complete drive unit for mechanical
damage. Also check concentricity of the spindle.
If the drive unit is rusty or heavily soiled, clean this
completely and grease.
Do not clean drive units using a high pressure
cleaner!
Repeat automatic function or parking function and
if necessary increase the setting for the motor
power by turning by approx. 5% in a clockwise
direction. (See 6.5) max.

Avoid using settings >95%!
If function is not ok
Check:
•
Contact on the motor plug connector
•
The plug connector on the control unit
•
The motor cable for break
Should the steady no longer automatically retract,
then a change over to emergency operation (see
8.0) must be made.
If none of the outer defects described are recog-
nisable, visit a suitable specialist workshop and
have the voltage on the motor plug (U motor = 12
– 28 V DC) measured.
