USE AND CARE:
- Fully unroll the appliance's power cable before
each use.
- Do not move the appliance while in use.
- Do not use the appliance if it is tipped up and do
not turn it over.
- Do not cover the cooking surface or food with
aluminium foil and other similar materials.
- To keep the non-stick treatment in good condi-
tion, do not use metal or pointed utensils on it.
- Unplug the appliance from the mains when not
in use and before undertaking any cleaning
task.
- Store this appliance out of reach of children
and/or persons with physical, sensory or
reduced mental or lack of experience and
knowledge.
- Do not store the appliance if it is still hot.
- Never leave the appliance connected and un-
attended if is not in use. This saves energy and
prolongs the life of the appliance.
- Turn the thermostat control to the minimum
(MIN) setting. This does not mean that the appli-
ance is switched off permanently.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
BEFORE USE:
- Make sure that all products' packaging has
been removed.
- Before using the product for the first time, clean
the parts that will come into contact with food in
the manner described in the cleaning section.
- Some parts of the appliance have been lightly
greased. Consequently, the first time the appli-
ance is used a light smoke may be detected.
After a short time, this smoke will disappear.
- To eliminate the smell given off by the appliance
when used for the first time, it is recommend-
ed to have it on at full power for 2 hours in a
well-ventilated room.
USE:
- Unroll the cable completely before plugging it in.
- Connect the appliance to the mains.
- The light (A) will light together with the light (B /
F) to indicate that the device is connected.
- Turn the thermostat knob to position it corre-
sponding to the desired temperature.
- The light (B / F) will go out.
- Wait for the pilot light (B / F) to connect again,
which will indicate that the device has reached
the appropriate temperature.
- During the appliance's use the pilot light (B/F)
will come on and off automatically, indicating
the heating elements are working, and therefore
maintaining the desired temperature.
- Open the appliance trough the handle. Note the
appliance can only be opened just when the
temperature control knob (C) is facing upwards.
- If necessary, butter can be added to the cooking
plates.
- Pour the batter on the bottom plate. Do not use
an excessive amount to avoid dripping batter
when cooking. Close the waffle maker com-
pletely.
- After 10 seconds approximately, use the handle
(E) to turn the waffle maker 180º in the direction
indicated by the arrow. The plates cannot be
turned in the opposite direction.
- Cook the waffle for 4-6 minutes approximately,
depeding on the level selected and the roasting
degree required.
- In order to minimize the generation of acrilamida
during the toasting process, avoid reaching dark
brown colours on the toasted bread.
- When the food is to your taste, remove it from
the appliance with the help of a wooden spatula
or similar heat resistant implement; do not
use utensils that could damage the non-stick
coating.

- 450g self-raising flour
- 3 eggs
- 150g melted butter
- 375g of milk
- 375g lukewarm water
