ONFIGURATION
Low level configuration is necessary to set AC-MAX's board parameters and must be performed before AC-
MAX Central Unit is enrolled into AC-MAX software. During first low level configuration own IP address and
communication key are configured. Programming of other parameters depends on the individual installation
scenario requirements and is not obligatory.
Low level configuration Procedure (firmware 1.4.2 or newer):
1. Connect power supply.
2. Start AC-MAX HW utility program.
3. Select Device, Firmware version and Communication channel (Ethernet).
4. Enter or select from the list the IP Address (factory default address IP=192.168.0.213).
5. Enter the communication key (factory default key is 1234).
6. Click Connect button - program will establish connection with Central Unit and the main
configuration window with AC-MAX's configuration parameters will be displayed.
7. Click Tools -> Set communication key and enter new communication key (use HEX characters
only) if the current key is default one or none.
8. Set the IP address and program other Central Unit's parameters as needed.
9. Once, the configuration is accomplished, click Send to device button and AC-MAX HW will
upload new settings to the Central Unit.
10. Optionally click Send to file button to backup AC-MAX settings in a file.
11. Choose Device -> Disconnect and close the AC-MAX HW program.
Note: Whenever the low level configuration of the AC-MAX Central Unit is changed, it is necessary to detect
the Central Unit in AC-MAX software and upload the high level configuration.

ESET
Memory Reset procedure erases all low level configuration settings including communication key (none) and
default IP address of the Central Unit (192.168.0.213).
Memory Reset Procedure:
1. Remove power supply.
2. Short CLK and IN4 lines.
3. Restore power supply (all LED will flash) and wait min. 6s.
4. Remove connection between CLK and IN4 lines (LEDs stop flashing, LED2 is ON).
5. Wait (approx. 1.5 min) till moment when LED5+LED6+LED7+LED8 will flash what indicates that
memory has been restored to the defaults.
6. Remove and connect again power supply.
7. Once, the memory is restored to defaults it is necessary to make low level configuration. And set
a communication key. (1234)
