OPERATION

After filling and placing the unit in an appropriate
location, the Aurora Mini is ready for use.
Turn Unit On and Set Vapor Intensity
1. Plug the humidifier in and turn the knob to the
right until it clicks, indicating the unit has been
turned on. The power light illuminates green.
2. Rotate the knob to the right to increase the vapor
flow. Note the small divot on the knob indicating
the position of the knob.
NOTE: For first use we recommend filling the tank and
allowing unit to run 24 hours. This will increase output.
3. When the power indicator light turns red, the wa-
ter supply is low. Turn the unit off and refill water
tank using the instructions on page 6.
LED Nightlight Feature
A multicolor LED light feature provides several col-
ors when the LED button is pushed in. These colors
automatically cycle through the range of colors.
If you prefer a steady color, simply press the LED
button again. You can step through each color man-
ually and stop when you come to the desired color.
To exit this mode, press the LED button until the light
goes out. Then the next time you press the LED but-
ton it will start in the automatic cycle mode again.
NOTE: This LED night light feature is a separate function
and does not require the humidifier to be on to work.
Essential Oil Diffuser Feature
A small tray on the side of the humidifier base pro-
vides an essential oil diffuser option.
This tray holds a small pad where essential oils can
be added. The fan will disperse the aroma through-
out the area. The essential oil diffuser feature only
works when the humidifier is operating.
Any essential oils that are recommended for diffus-
ers are appropriate for use with this unit. A replace-
ment pack of pads and a variety of essential oils
are available at aircareproducts.com or by calling
1.800.547.3888.
We recommend only adding a few drops of oil at
a time and waiting a few minutes to see how it
disperses, instead of saturating the pad initially. You
can add more oil if needed.
NOTE: Petroleum-based mentholated products are
not recommended for use in the tray, as over time
this may deteriorate the strength of the tray. Instead,
use essential oils such as eucalyptus and mint to
create a similar fragrance.
